①负面现象：

②中性现象：

推荐信

投诉信

I am writing (this letter) to make a complaint to you about the electronic dictionary I bought from your online store other day.

求职信

I am writing (this letter) to express my strong interest in the position of sales manager advertised in the local newspaper.

第二段——详细描述

内容

信函的第二段需要考生根据题目给出的具体情境来展开描述，因此，主题不同，写作内容自然不同。但也并非无章可循，除了背记不同主题的范文之外，也可以参照常见的写作框架.

写作框架（一）——并列式

概念

句1是总述句，点出中心大意，其后的句2，句3，句4是一个意群，围绕句1展开描述，对句1进行分述。

例子

① I’m writing the email to tell you about some of my living habits in order that we can enjoy a harmonious relationship. ② To begin with, I am accustomed to getting up quite early in the morning, so I wonder whether it will disturb your sleep patterns. ③In addition, I am a fabulous cook, enjoying making food in the kitchen, which can save me a fortune every month. ④For any inconvenience these practices may cause you, I would say sorry in advance.

分析

这是一封介绍+询问建议信（2014）的第二段，典型的总分结构，句1开门见山，交代写信目的，即介绍自己得生活习惯以便融洽相处；句2和句3分辨讲述自己早起和做饭的习惯；句4对这些习惯可能产生的不便表达歉意。

写作框架（二）——平铺式

概念

在阐述中心论点时，各句间是环环相扣，逐层深入的关系，语义上递进，逻辑严密。

例子

①The charity sale, scheduled at 2:00p.m. on Saturday(Mar.16), will be held at Building 1 behind the Main Hall. ② You’re so welcome to attend the event and bring your donations such as study articles and daily necessities for the charity sale. ③All the money raised and those items that are not sold out will be donated to Beiguan Primary School to help the students in need.

分析

这是一封邀请信（2013）的第二段，共三句话，平铺直述，娓娓道来，其间语义承接如下：①先告知义卖活动的时间和地点→②紧接着述说活动的安排→③最后讲明活动的后续工作。

第三段——礼貌收尾

文末落款

落款

可用Yours sincerely、Yours truly、Yours faithfully、Sincerely yours、Truly yours、Faithfully yours，注意大小写，不要忘记最后末尾的逗号。

签名

签名可写在落款下面同样的位置,但切忌不要签署自己的真实姓名,应严格按照试题指令提供的名字来写。

比如2016年小作文题干中特别指出：

Do not sign your own name at the end of the letter. Use Li Ming instead.

不要署自己的姓名，而是要用Li Ming。 所以，考试时一定要看清题干要求，这是很容易失分的一个点。
